Ways of starting

by Matthopps @ 2008-04-24 - 22:26:17

Anyone got any good ideas on how to start blogs? I'm sure that I'd blog a lot, lot more because I've lots of topics to blog about, I'm just not very good at starting these things...

Yes. Take a subject at which you are expert or inexpert and write about it in great detail (or in not such great detail).

I like to blog about the thing that happend in the day that makes me think "what the hell was that about?".

Just post whatever you feel like providing it makes sense. The good thing about blogging is that if you write on a topic you love, you will probably run into likeminded people.

There are plenty of topics that I enjoy discussing with my family, but if I talk about my food ideas they tend to switch off with boredom (but duly eat up if my culinary experiments work out :)).

However writing my foodfun.blog.co.uk blog has been great for me. I have been able to share some thoughts without boring my family to death. I have also had very valuable thoughts back from other bloggers.

Just get going and after 10-20 posts I am sure you will find a good equilibrium.

Much success! Don't take it too seriously!

O.

Just write...let the words flow.
